Mt. Jinmi (Jinmiyama)

Mt. Jinmi is a small peak rising from the north bank of the Arakawa River, marking the border between Chichibu County's Nagatoro Town, Higashi Chichibu Village, and Misato Town in Saitama Prefecture.
The mountain is named after troops of the Late Hojo clan led by Asano Nagayoshi monitored Hachiman Mountain Castle and Hachigata Castle from this mountain during siege operations in the Warring States period. Today, a forest road passes near the summit where TV relay antennas are installed.
The main hiking route starting from Hagure Station on Chichibu Railway reaches the top in about 2 hours, avoiding the forest road.
