Daifukuyama, also known as Kabutoyama or Gongenyama, is a 242-meter-high mountain located in Ichihara City, Chiba Prefecture. The mountain's name, meaning "Great Luck Mountain," was inspired by its resemblance to a daifuku, a traditional Japanese rice cake.

The hiking route starts from the Kazusa-Okubo Station on the Kominato Railway. From a nearby trailhead, hikers begin their ascent, following the Linzai-Okubo Forest Road. The path converges with the Lingura Nakazato Forest Road at Kamifuruya, leading to a point with an observation tower, a rest house, and the monument of Hidaka Nobuzane Monument. Just a short distance further, a path ascends to the right, leading to the summit, where the Shiratori Shrine, dedicated to the deity Yamato Takeru, is located. The journey from the station to the summit takes about 2 hours.

The descent is particularly enchanting during the fresh green of spring or the vibrant autumn colors, as it winds down through Umegase Valley towards the Yoro Keikoku Station on the Kominato Railway. This route allows hikers to end their journey amidst the ever-changing beauty of the seasons.
